Enthusiastic about last year’s successful edition of the LingvaFest’ festival, which attracted more than 4300 participants, the E@I team members are already working intensively to prepare the next edition of the event – LingvaFest’2026. In 2026 it will continue to be free and open for students, teachers, linguists and all those interested in cultures and languages of the world.
Also this year it will take place in Bratislava; the event will be hosted by the University of Economics in Bratislava on the 10th and 11th of September 2026. Thanks to lectures, crash courses, workshops, quizzes and a rich cultural program, the participants of LingvaFest’ will enjoy a unique atmosphere of multilingualism, intercultural dialogue and language discovery.
Important news is that LingvaFest’2026 will take place under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, which underlines the growing significance of the event in the context of language education and cultural diversity in Slovakia.
LingvaFest’2026 is organized by Edukado@Interreto in collaboration with the Slovak Esperanto Federation and the University of Economics in Bratislava. The main partner of the event is the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission; its partners are the National Institute of Education and Youth (NIVAM) and the Ľudovít Štúr Institute of Linguistics. The festival is linked to the celebration of the European Day of Languages (celebrated every year on September 26) and aims to show that languages are not only a learning object, but also a bridge between people and cultures and an irreplaceable source of global enrichment.
