The language festival LingvaFest’ 2026 will be held in the University of Economics in Bratislava on September 10 and 11, 2026. (More details: www.lingvafest.sk/en). LingvaFest is the first and only language festival in Slovakia! So far, it has taken place in 2018, 2019 and 2025 – the last one was visited by more than 4,300 visitors.

Language festivals take place in various European countries, but this type of event was previously missing in Slovakia. LingvaFest’ aims to make the public aware of the richness and diversity of languages, present the latest trends in language learning and offer a space for language institutions and schools to present themselves.

As part of the language festival, visitors will be able to participate in interesting programs: language crash courses, competitions, language quizzes with prizes, cultural performances, and concerts (dance and singing in several languages​). Admission is free for the public.
